A few of my friends have also created blogs of thier parent’s accomplishments after seeing this one. This blog has had a huge impact on my mother, she is able to see her work in a different medium (published on the comouter). It is her own on-going Art Exhibition. She has a deeper sense of self accomplishment and confidence in her work now. It has enlivened her and exposed her talents to her extended family and friends and all those who visit this site.

Nancy, thank you for sharing your mom’s art in a blog. I’m not surprised this great idea is having a “snowball effect” as it’s truly from a generous place and is an new and mutually rewarding way of connecting with our loved creative ones. I’ll be taking inspiration from and discussing this idea with the seniors residence where I teach art. I hope many more embrace it to share legacy and love.
